Manchester City defender Otamendi may be added to the negotiations with Sevilla as a bargaining chip in exchange for the opposing central defender Conde.
"Daily Mail" stated that the negotiations between Manchester City and Sevilla are deadlocked. For the 21-year-old French defender Conde, Sevilla is asking for 65 million pounds, but this price is something Manchester City does not want to pay in full. Otamendi may be joined by Manchester City in the negotiating deal to offset part of the transfer fee.
With the addition of new aid Ake, the 32-year-old Otamendi declined in the new season. He did not enter the team squad in the first round of the Premier League against Wolves. The teams interested in Otamendi include Porto and Inter Milan, but Manchester City prefers to use him to reach a trade-in deal with Sevilla.
In the five years he played for Manchester City, Otamendi played 210 times and won two Premier League, one FA Cup and four League Cups.
